Mask Wearing Guidelines - April 19, 2023

After three years of resilience, dedication and commitment CTHP staff is able to take off our masks for everyone to see our smiles. The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) has released new guidelines that masks will no longer be required in a healthcare setting.  This is a monumental moment for all but one of great triumph for our team and community who have preserved in the face of the COVID 19 pandemic and those who have worked tireless to ensure that we kept our community and the surrounding Mendocino County healthy and safe during these last three years. What this means is that we will no longer be taking temperature at the door, but we will have masks available at various locations if needed.

CTHP would still recommend the following precautions:

  1. If you are a patient and not feeling well, have a cough, sore throat we ask you to please wear a mask to protect those around you

  2. If you as patient want your provider to wear a mask when being treated please do not hesitate in asking them to do so

  3. If you are an employee and are sick stay home to protect your co-workers and patients that you may come in contact with

  4. If you feel more comfortable while working or being in a healthcare setting to wear a mask please do so. This is a personal choice and this time and you should feel free to wear whatever protection you are comfortable donning.

Masks will be available at the door of each building as well as at the reception areas in all clinics.
